14 Migrants killed in boat accident off Turkey’s coast

A devastating incident occurred off the coast of Mugla province in western Turkey, where a boat carrying migrants capsized, resulting in the deaths of at least 14 people. The Turkish authorities have launched a search and rescue operation to find potential survivors.

According to eyewitnesses, the boat was carrying a large number of migrants when it sank in the Aegean Sea. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.

An Afghan migrant who survived the tragedy swam back to shore and alerted the authorities. Another survivor was rescued from a nearby island. The bodies of 14 people have been recovered from the sea so far.
